La Grenouille is situated in the nature reserve Livradois-Forez, the southern heart of the French Auvergne . It is located in the small township of Brenat , which is part of the community of St. Jean St. Gervais, about 60km/37 miles (45 minutes) south of Clermont Ferrand.

On the grounds of la Grenouille you can find a typical French house containing four chambres d´hôtes, a romantic gite, a campsite with two caravans, a tent as "chalet" and eight places with electricity. The house or its rooms and the gite are available during the season or - on demand - throughout the year; the campsite is open mostly in july and august.
